GOD'S COMFORT AND HEAVEN BIBLE VERSES

Here are some bible verses I find of comfort and help when our love ones are taken to heaven forever by our LORD JESUS CHRIST GOD ALMIGHTY to enter his rest and to be with HIM.

They wait for all of us who are CHRIST’S friends and HIS children to be unity with all GOD’S saints, in heaven at the LORD’S set appointed times and until he comes again as promised.

Luke 23: 43 Jesus replied, … “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise.”

Proverbs 10:7 The memory of the righteous is blessed……

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things …. God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.

GOD DECIDES THE VERY TIME WE ARE BORN

We know from the words of GOD in HIS bible the LORD fully thought out the plans for the heavens, the Angels, all of the universe and all the unique people HE would ever create in HIS timing.

Creating and giving both all the Angels and all people free will to make their own choices in their lives.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He (GOD) has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternityin the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

God decided the very times all of us were to be born and even knew us in our Mother’s womb.

The LORD chose us before HE even created the world and all.

Isaiah 44:24 This is what the Lord says—your Redeemer (CHRIST JESUS) , who formed you in the womb: I am the Lord, the Maker of all things, who stretches out the heavens, who spreads out the earth by myself,

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you (Jeremiah) as a prophet to the nations.”

Isaiah 46:4 Even to your old age and gray hairs I am HE, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you.

GOD DETERMINED THE LENGTH OF OUR LIVES.

The LORD tells us HE has set how long we are to live down to the actual times our lives here on earth will end to the year, minute and second and it is unchangeable.

From our human viewpoint some of us will only see a person’s death was because of some very reasons like old age, a disease, an illness, an injury, war killing or war injury, suicide and murder. But GOD decides when our live work with other people for HIM is completed and we are now to spend eternity with HIM and all the Christians in heaven. HE set our days.

Job 14:5 Since his days are determined, The number of his months is with You; And his limits You have set so that he cannot pass.

Acts 17:26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.

Isa 57:1 The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands...... that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

Psalms 116:15  " Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. "

( And that is because the Lord longs and wants for us to be with Him as He first planned. We were first made Holy and Righteous meant to be with the Lord eternally. We were always meant to be spared from evil in God’s plan if we only the obey the Lord. But Adam and Eve disobeyed God. …The death of God’s saints is a great of concern to the Lord. Precious means "carefully watched over." It may also include the idea that the death of His people is a costly matter to Him.

OUR DEATH BRINGS US IMMEDIATELY INTO THE PRESENCE OF CHRIST THERE IN NO SOUL SLEEP OR NO PURGATORY IN BETWEEN

Luke 23: 43 Jesus replied, … “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in Paradise. (To the man on cross next to Him ) …

John 14:1-7 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going.”

1 Cor 13:12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see ( God ) face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Phil 1:21-23 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. ( To be with Christ ) If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far;

( For Paul … “ to me ’’, to live is Christ. Paul’s life finds all its meaning in Christ. To die is gain. Profit was because then there will be union with Christ, without the limitations of to life. … to depart means "to be loose from all the confinements, pain, and limitations of this life.”… be with Christ. )

Heb 11:40 God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Philippians 1:6 Our future glorification is so certain that it can be said to be accomplished. For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Psalms 16:10 ...... because you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your Holy One decay.

Psalms 16:11 You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.

Isa 57:2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Pastor A.W. Tozer said ……. “ Nothing of God's dies when a man of God's dies "

WHOEVER LOVES IS KNOW BY GOD BECAUSE GOD IS TRUE LOVE

1 John 4:7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Love is HIS supreme quality. God can be known only by those who live in love. We could not know how, nor be able, to love HIM if HE had not first loved us . If we love one another GOD abides in us HIS love is matured and perfected in us .This is how people can see we are GOD’S Christians.

Jesus said …… to Thomas, “ I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you know me, you will know my Father also. From now on you do know Him and have seen Him. ”

2 Tim 2:19 ...... God's solid foundation stands firm, sealed with this inscription:

"The Lord knows those who are his," "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness."
We are sealed with a mark of authentication and ownership by the Lord.

Eph. 5:1-2 The destiny of the Christians are to be conformed to Christ . Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Psalms 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul:

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;

thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:

thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runeth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever

Psalms 68:5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

Deut 10:18 He defends the cause of the fatherless and the widow, and loves the alien, giving him food and clothing.

Psalms 146:9 The LORD watches over the alien and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but the frustrates the ways of the wicked.

Isa 30:19 O people of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.

Isa 4:3 Those who are left in Zion, who remain in Jerusalem, will be called holy, all who are recorded among the living in Jerusalem. ( God's glory will be a canopy of protection for the nation. Fulfillment awaits the return of Messiah and establishment of His kingdom. )

Psalms 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him.

Psalms 41:1 Blessed is he who has regard for the weak; the LORD delivers him in times of trouble.

Psalms 41:2 The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes.

THE COMFORT OF CHRIST AND A GOOD FINISH TO LIFE

2 Corinthians 3-7

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

2 Tim 4:6-8 For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day--and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.

( Paul viewed his death as pouring out his life as an offering to God… departure…release…. his death. Paul knew that this time he would not be freed. )

Psalms 61:1-4

Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint;

Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength against the enemy.

Let me dwell in Your tent forever;

Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings.

JOHN 3:16-21 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil. For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. But he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 The Resurrection

Listen, I will tell you a mystery! We will not all die, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. For this perishable body must put on imperishability, and this mortal body must put on immortality. When this perishable body puts on imperishability, and this mortal body puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will be fulfilled

“Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

“Where, O death, is your victory?

“Where, O death, is your sting?

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Psalm 116:7-9 Return to your rest, my soul, for the Lord has been good to you. For you, Lord, have delivered me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling, that I may walk before the Lord in the land of the living.

The New Heaven and the New Earth

Revelation 21:1-5

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.” And the one who was seated on the throne said, “See, I am making all things new.”

Psalm 30:5 ….. HIS favor lasts a lifetime:

Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.
